Siemens

Siemens

Siemens Healthineers is a leading provider of healthcare products and services in Australia and New Zealand and a proud sponsor of Radiology Across Borders.

Siemens acknowledges the important work of RAB as a not-for-profit organisation that brings together like-minded Radiologists and other Allied Health professionals who are committed to improving the quality of healthcare in both Diagnostic Radiology and Interventional Radiology, with the ultimate aim of improving standards of care across nations and borders.

One of the most important ways that RAB can make a difference is by training local doctors in developing nations. Siemens supports RAB to be able to expand its reach in the region.

Our 250 clinics are located in metropolitan as well as many regional communities across Australia. Each year across the network we perform more than 6 million patient procedures.

I-MED is committed to supporting the community and using radiology to save lives in Australia and throughout the Asia Pacific. Through our partnership we will collaborate in the delivery of many of our key projects. Thank you to I-MED for realising the significance of the work of RAB.

The Australasian Sonographers Association (ASA)

The Australasian Sonographers Association (ASA)

The Australasian Sonographers Association (ASA) is the peak body and leading voice for sonographers in Australasia and leads the profession in delivering excellence in sonography to the community.

The need for an association that exclusively represents sonographers remains high and the ASA have been representing and advocating for sonographers for over 26 years. With almost 7,000 members, the ASA represents 75% of accredited sonographers across Australia and New Zealand.

Advocating for the role of sonographers in the healthcare system and ensuring sonographers are known as the experts in ultrasound across the community are key roles for the association, as well as promoting patient access to safe and quality medical diagnostic ultrasound, best practice in medical sonography and providing sonographer education and research.

The ASA strives to advance health and advance education within the sonography field and this extends to also supporting our neighbouring less developed nations. We are proud to partner with Radiology Across Borders.

Lumus Imaging

Lumus Imaging

For many years, Healthcare Imaging Services and Queensland Diagnostic Imaging operated under multiple brand names across Australia, providing a variety of imaging services to our patients, referrers, suppliers, and partners. Following the launch of our new national brand, Lumus Imaging, we are proud to announce this partnership with RAB.

Organisations like RAB increase access to important knowledge and support for radiology experts internationally, and this aligns strongly with the Lumus Imaging slogan ‘knowledge that matters, people that care’. We care about our patients, our staff, and our social responsibility as a healthcare provider. We operate as a network of experts, and we want to extend this network to our colleagues at RAB on a national and international scale. Lumus Imaging is excited to contribute to the knowledge libraries, events and culture of RAB, and welcomes our new colleagues to the Lumus Imaging community.

Sonic Healthcare Foundation

Sonic Healthcare Foundation

Sonic Healthcare is one of the world’s leading providers of medical diagnostics, with a reputation for excellence in laboratory medicine / pathology, radiology and primary care medical services, across operations in Australasia, Europe and North America.

The Sonic Healthcare Foundation was established by Sonic Healthcare with the specific purpose of funding charitable programs that would promote the prevention and control of disease. Some of these programs include diagnostic support for hospitals and medical centres in some of the poorer regions of our world, specifically at the moment in Central Africa as well as providing medical checks for indigenous young Australians in partnership with organisations such as the Clontarf Foundation. We believe that as a world-leading diagnostic medical company we can best demonstrate medical leadership by supporting the improvement of the health and wellbeing of those in need.

Our decision to support the work of Radiology Across Borders fits well with this overall vision of assisting groups and organisations who are actively seeking ways to ensure there are better health outcomes for individuals no matter where they live and who also seek to equip, encourage, support and train those working in healthcare in less privileged locations.
