Australasian Musculoskeletal Imaging Group

AMSIG Lectures

Introduction

The Australasian Musculoskeletal Imaging Group (AMSIG) is a Supporting Partner of RAB.

AMSIG was established by an enthusiastic group of radiologists and held their first Annual Scientific Meeting (ASM) in Melbourne in 1992. Their goal is to foster the development of MSK radiology in Australia and New Zealand and to provide a forum for members to discuss issues and ideas pertaining to the subspecialty, in a fashion marked by camaraderie among colleagues.

AMSIG is now recognised as one of the leading MSK groups worldwide. AMSIG has developed close relationships with fellow organisations such as the International Skeletal Society (ISS). In recognition of this, the prestigious journal Skeletal Radiology, recently became the official journal of AMSIG.

AMSIG has also been involved in international teaching via a collaboration with Radiology Across Borders (RAB) and other endeavours.
