International Certificate in Radiology Fundamentals (ICRF)

Empowering the world through education

Project lead: Ailsa Cowie

We collaborated with the University of British Columbia (UBC) and Radiopaedia to successfully introduce the International Certificate in Radiology Fundamentals (ICRF) in February 2021. This unique one-year online program aims to build the capabilities of clinicians in developing nations in radiology practice and consequently improve health care delivery to their communities.

We are pleased to announce that the ICRF in 2023 was granted accreditation by UBC CPD (Continuing Professional Development). UBC is a top-50 ranked university in the world, and accreditation of the ICRF by their CPD division points to the quality of the program and its potential significance globally.

RAB is grateful for the invaluable support of Prof Bruce Forster and Clin A/Prof Pete Tonseth, Department of Radiology, Faculty of Medicine, The University of British Columbia,
